Arnolds opened its first bakery & coffee shop in the beginning of the 1990s. Today we are already a national family with over thirty coffee shops. We still do our work with a smile on our lips and a baker’s hat on our heads, with the motto “from human to human”.

All the coffee shops are located in the city centers or in busy malls. In other words it’s not at all strange that over half of all Finns know us. We are Finland’s most well-known and appreciated coffee shop chain (Taloustutkimus 2007)

You don’t need to have been an entrepreneur before. Your ability to cooperate and your positive attitude to life as well as your blemish-free background is what counts. You also have to like customer service and normal work to be successful.

As the owner you are responsible for all business activity, including capital investment. In return you are handed a ready business environment with delicious products and well-known brands as well as all the benefits and help that the chain can offer. In addition we teach you all the business tasks that are part of the company and support you continuously on your way to success.

We are members of the Finnish Franchising Association. The franchise agreement we sign with our franchisees fulfill the demands set out in the association’s ethical directives. The contract was checked on 9th January 2003.

Sea Bear

A certain tale tells that once upon a time sea captain Hanson Gregory was in such a terrible storm that he couldn’t take his hands off the rudder to eat. Because of that he pierced his food ration, which was a dry cake, on the till of the rudder. The world had gained a new piece of pastry. The innovation was especially valuable because dry cakes often remained pasty inside despite being burned on the outside. But by making a hole in the middle of the pastry you gained an evenly baked delicacy.
